At the heart of Promote Inclusion Books is Elsie Guerrero, a passionate advocate committed to rewriting the narrative for children with disabilities and marginalized communities. Through her work as a children’s book author, Elsie uses storytelling as a powerful tool to educate, empower, and inspire.
Her mission is simple yet profound: to promote inclusion and equity by shining a light on childhood disability and social justice issues, particularly within the Latinx community. To date, Elsie has published over ten children's books that center on the experiences of children with disabilities, along with three impactful titles addressing social justice in Latinx communities.
Elsie’s work has gained widespread recognition. She was honored as a 2020 Hispanic Lifestyle Magazine Awardee and has been featured by leading media outlets, including NBC Latino and Telemundo, underscoring her role as a trusted voice in inclusive storytelling and advocacy.
Through her books and advocacy, Elsie continues to spark meaningful conversations, foster understanding, and champion a world where every child—regardless of ability or background—is seen, heard, and celebrated.
